“Drama on the High Seas”

PALCO invites you to come Relax and Recharge with us on a 7 Day Cruise, out of Galveston, this Summer.

Bring your One Act, your Children’s Play, your Melodrama or join other schools in an Improv Contest on the stage of the Fun Ship, with a whole new audience.  For safety sake, no set pieces (not even PALCO’s UIL sets) on the ship’s stage. Hand props only.

Enjoy all the Carnival Fun Ship Activities, but “kick it up a notch” with other Texas theatre folks, when the Fun Ship becomes a Show Boat!

What a fun bunch to hang out with, right?

Check out the Ports of Call and other Cruise Info below and call LaDawn at Universal Travel to explain this trip, designed especially for our customers and theatre friends.

Can’t (or don’t want to) bring your cast? That’s OK.  Grab a friend to  bunk with; you can still hang out with other cool Texas Theatre Arts teachers and directors.

We are planning two different cruises for 2010 for students to showcase their talent and learn from each other; or for teachers to get together without the kids to act crazy or just relax. We didn't get enough teachers for a "teachers only" trip, but talk to us at TETA and we will try to put one together, if that is what you'd enjoy. Talk with some of your friends, let us know, and we will spread the word.

Sorry everyone, this summer is sold out for groups. Read on for ideas for next year.

Here's the quick information for this year's cruise.  The Eastern Caribbean Cruise sells out very quickly. Deposit for either cruise is $250 and balance due by April 1, 2010.
